As the general election draws closer, Political atmosphere in Ado Odo Ota is reportedly witnessing money politics as one of the Aspirants to the Ogun west senatorial seat, Hon Ojugbele is allegedly bribing himself to secure the Senatorial Seat knowing fully well that he is not on ground, nor generally accepted by the Constituents.
A reliable source grounded in Ado Odo Ota Politics disclosed that Leaders in Ado Odo Ota are being bribed with N20 million each to help him get a consensus ticket for the Senatorial Seat without recourse to other Aspirants.
According to sources the disbursement of N20 million each to the political leaders in Ado Odo Ota LG was allegedly facilitated by one Chief Segun Ojolowo Ojuko, According to reports the funds were meant to lobby and present a fake consensus candidates in Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun and Hon Jimoh Ojugbele to the Ogun State, Governor Prince Dapo ABIODUN
Sources further revealed that this unholy arrangement is allegedly backed by the Olota of Ota, Oba Prof Adeyemi who we gathered is on his way to Abeokuta to meet with the state Governor at the time of filling in this report.
