President Bola Tinubu has for some time been embroiled in controversy over documents allegedly linked to his past and said to contain evidence of criminal activities, which are currently the subject of debate in a US court.
Amid the allegations, popular Nigerian seer and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised the President to do everything within his power to prevent the United States government from releasing the documents.
Primate Ayodele gave the warning in a statement on Tuesday through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.
Primate Ayodele said: “If those documents come out, it will end Tinubu’s second term because the power behind it is heavy. Tinubu is just playing around it; people working to stop it are only deceiving him.
“If America is ready, they will release it, and that’s why I said America is one of Tinubu’s problems. The documents are there, and there are plans to release them.
“If this document comes out, an interim government is imminent, and there will be a serious effect on the election.”
Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has been at the forefront of calls for the release of the documents.
