Afrobeat legend and late Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s son, Seun Kuti, has made an intriguing but hilarious revelation about his experience at the wedding ceremony of TikTok stars, Peller and Jarvis in Lagos.
The singer recently shared his experience at the star-studded event, saying he and other guests arrived looking like big men but eventually left the venue as though they were running from trouble.
According to Seun Kuti, there were many agberos at the venue, forcing guests to make a hasty exit as though they were thieves.
He said: “At Peller’s wedding, all of us left there as if we were thieves. Everybody escaped from that wedding.
“Nobody left the wedding like a big man. Nobody left like the big man that we were when we arrived. We were leaving as if they were pursuing thieves because the agberos in Lagos were too much.”
