The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been exposed by none other person than the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku who was the presidential candidate of the defunct Action Congress (AC) has revealed to any one that cares to know that Tinubu wanted to be his running mate.
He said: “My relationship with Tinubu took a worse turn in 2007.”
“Tinubu wanted me to field a Muslim-Muslim ticket in 2007. He wanted to be my running mate but I refused.”
“Tinubu rejected my choice of Ben Obi as my running mate.”
“I became politically estranged with Tinubu after I presented Obi as my running mate.”
“He insisted on running with me and I didn’t believe it was right to have a Muslim-Muslim ticket.”
“That was the point of my fundamental departure with him.”
Atiku made the revelation on Friday, July 22nd, 2022 in a live interview with Arise TV.
