Popular Nigerian preacher and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has criticized those attacking the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye over his silence on the rising cases of kidnapping and terrorism in the country.
Suleman faulted critics who accused Pastor Adeboye of failing to speak out or lead protests against insecurity under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Speaking to his congregation in Auchi, Edo State, in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the outspoken cleric defended Adeboye and questioned why some Nigerians were targeting the revered pastor over the country’s security challenges.
Apostle Suleman said; “There are some people attacking Daddy G.O. Pastor Adeboye, claiming that he protested under former President Jonathan but is not protesting under Tinubu.”
“He did not protest then; it was the PFN that directed pastors and preachers to embark on a prayer walk. Do you expect a man of 84 years to come out and protest? I am a son of Adeboye, and if he is not speaking out, I am speaking out too.”
