Popular Nigerian pastor and founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has condemned Nigerian leaders following the recent attack in Jos.
In a post shared on his social media platform, Suleman blamed the incident on what he described as a failure of leadership, accusing leaders of prioritising political interests over the safety and welfare of citizens.
He said; “The Jos attack is yet another sign that leadership is failing—leadership that places politics above the protection of human lives.”
He added; “Instead of squandering our collective resources on pre-election activities and political ambitions, future generations will judge whether today’s leaders are enabling and repeating what they once strongly opposed.”
Suleman continued; “I believe in the power of prayer, but prayer alone cannot replace responsibility. We need compassionate leaders, yet the current ones show little empathy. We are exhausted; it is deeply draining.”
He concluded by expressing solidarity with the victims, saying; “We stand with the families who have lost their loved ones and pray for the strength to endure the immense pain of their loss.”
