The Nigerian state has not been a home and abode of rest to her citizens in the past few years and even currently with the rate of cultism, Banditry and terrorism raveging the country on a daily basis.
The rate at which this incessant maiming and killing of the people, one will doubt if the Nigeria still has her security apparatus uncompromised.
Many politicians in the state even engaged the services of some of members of these dreaded groups and cults to maim, silent and even kill their opponents.
Many people who worked and served with various previous governments in some states like Osun State, Oyo State, Edo state and many other states had to take the “Japa” option and relocated overseas running for their Dear lives.
“I ran to Lagos from where I was able to secure visa to escape to Canada before they could catch up with me, even though I lost my valuables and everything I have worked for when my house was set ablaze in Ilesha because they could not get me to be eliminated. My offence was because I was loyal to my boss who is a member of an opposition party”.
Mukaila Famuyide a former resident of Ilesha in Osun state retorted while speaking with our correspondent.
Recently His Royal Highness, Adesuyi Hastrup the Owa Obokun of Ijesha land in Osun state has come out to warn all those engaging in violence and killings to desist from such acts. He went further to invoke the spirit of the gods of Ijesha land to deal with any one who will not adhere to the royal warning.
As another election year is fast approaching we call on the government to please put all hands on deck work with all the security agencies including local vigilantes and protect lifes and properties of her citizens because they have no other country than Nigeria.
