The nomination deadline for the 2025 edition of the Consumers Value Awards (CVA) has officially been extended to May 30, 2025, giving brands, organizations, and consumers additional time to participate in one of Nigeria’s most respected consumer recognition platforms.

Now in its fourth edition, the CVA continues to spotlight brands that demonstrate exceptional consumer satisfaction, ethical practices, and innovation in their service delivery. Organized by BrandXchange, the annual event has built a strong reputation for celebrating transparency, accountability, and value within Nigeria’s dynamic consumer marketplace.
The theme for this year’s awards, “Beyond Prices – Consumer Trust, Digital Experience and Accountability,” underscores the shifting priorities of modern consumers. As expectations evolve, pricing alone is no longer the main determinant of customer loyalty. Instead, consumers are placing increasing importance on brand integrity, seamless digital engagement, and corporate responsibility.
“In today’s dynamic consumer landscape, price alone is no longer the sole driver of loyalty,” said Akonte Ekine, Convener of the CVA. “Consumers are demanding more transparency, a stronger digital experience, and measurable accountability from the brands they interact with. This year’s theme reinforces our commitment to spotlighting brands that meet and exceed these expectations.”
Members of the public, consumer advocates, and industry stakeholders are encouraged to nominate brands that exemplify excellence in customer experience and ethical standards. Nominations can be submitted through the official CVA website: https://consumersvalueawards.com/nomination
The CVA 2025 Awards Ceremony is scheduled to take place in September, and will convene key figures from the consumer, marketing, and business communities to honor brands that are redefining value in Nigeria.
