Nigerian streamer and singer, Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, may be facing legal action after claiming that he graduated from Babcock University with a First Class degree in Biochemistry.

Reacting to the claim, Babcock University said it is considering legal action, alleging that Carter Efe falsely claimed to hold a degree certificate from the institution.
In a statement released on Sunday, the university described the claim as false.
The statement reads; “FRAUD ALERT. Babcock University does not issue ‘Honorary Certificates’ for undergraduate performance and has no classification known as ‘First Class Upper’.”
“Any document claiming otherwise is fraudulent and should be disregarded. We urge the public to verify all credentials through the Office of the Registrar.”
For those who may not be familiar with the story, Carter Efe made the claim during an interview with Egungun of Lagos, where he said he graduated from Babcock University with a First Class degree in Biochemistry.
