Celebrities On The Run As Lagos Declares AMVCA Attendees Exposed To Coronavirus

Celebrities who attended the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) held on March 14, 2020 are now on the run as the Lagos State Government has declared that all participants at the event may have come in contact with one Lagos confirmed Coronavirus case.

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi made the revelation on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.

He said; “COVID-19 Lagos Alert! I hereby notify you that all participants at the African Magic viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) held on 14th March at Eko Hotels may have come in contact with one of the confirmed cases in Lagos and are most likely to have been exposed to COVID-19 Infection.”

Abayomi advised all attendees to observe strict self-isolation, maintain social distancing and contact the state if they exhibit any coronavirus-related symptoms.
