The battle between famous comedian, Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess and Nollywood Yoruba actor, Baba Ijesha has taken a fresh dimension.
In a recent development, Princess divulged that Baba Ijesha wooed her after they met in 2008 at an event.
She made the shocking revelation on Monday, July 26th, 2021 in court.
Speaking before the Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja, Lagos, Princess said; “I met Baba Ijesha in 2008 at an event and we decided to start making comedy skits together.”
“Baba Ijesha wooed me in the process of our work relationship but I rejected his proposal.”
“I got close to Baba Ijesha afterwards, especially after my marriage crashed around 2013.”
“I invested in his education and he visited me at home thereafter.”
Recall that Baba Ijesha was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for sexually assaulting Princess’s 14-year-old adopted daughter.
Besides, Baba Ijesha has been in court since April 22, 2021 after he was arrested for the alleged sexual assault on the minor.
The actor was thereafter charged on six counts of sexual assault by penetration, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual assault.
However, Baba Ijesha was later granted bail.
