Popular Nigerian entertainer, show promoter, socialite, and nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has criticised the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, describing him as the second-worst minister from the South-East.

The celebrity barman called on President Bola Tinubu to replace Umahi and other South-East ministers, arguing that their performance in office could undermine the President’s chances of securing votes from the region in the 2027 general election.
Cubana Chief Priest made the call in a series of posts on his Instagram page, where he accused the ministers of failing to deliver meaningful development to the South-East despite their appointments to key government positions.
He wrote: “See wetin dem dey do our minister, always blabbing, the second-worst minister the South-East has ever had. We have nothing to show for it as a region that has had a Minister of Works.
“The worst minister na my sister from Imo State. That one na fluke of a minister. Asiwaju, you gats change these failures of ministers for us. The one from my state can’t even get 1k votes for Asiwaju.
“Nobody for our state even know say we once had Minister of Finance, Minister of Trade and Investment, but Igbos no even see any opportunity. Minister wey dey beg to call meeting for am, that one fit get vote? No impact, no level. Na boys just use mama cash out.
“All South-East ministers, make una bring una report card. We want to see what you guys did for our region with your bogus ministries. Una collect appointment use am enrich una selves, not minding the man who gave you appointment. Now payback time is here. Make una bring results wey we go use promote our candidate.
“Semester don close. We want to see result sheets. Wetin you do for us for Works? Wetin you do for us for Finance, Trade and Investment, etc.? Who and who were uplifted? Please, we really wanna know. No space for failures again.
“Monkey no go work, baboon go chop. Right now, you guys want to ride on the current movement wave. Hell no! Whereas, na una dey make the work difficult for us to do.
“What have you guys done for the region? Pinpoint them. Let’s use it to campaign.”
