Nigerian music star, David Adeleke has lambasted Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun State whom his uncle, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) defeated in the Osun gubernatorial election in July, 2022.
The singer, took to his Twitter page and knocked the ousted Governor over his claims.
Davido wrote; “Your actually just a bad human being … @GboyegaOyetola no other way to put it spreading lies everywhere destroying ur legacy (not like you even have) … it’s done and dusted @inecnigeria Abeg is there any such thing thing as over voting with your new BVAS Machine? NOV 27th WE MOVE!!”
Recall that Davido’s uncle, Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was declared winner of the Osun State Governorship election.
Adeleke polled a total votes of 403,371 to defeat the incumbent governor, Oyetola of the All Progressive Congress (APC), who got 375,027 votes.
Oyetola, had before now filed a suit asking the election tribunal to nullify Adeleke’s victory.
Besides, Oyetola also accused Adeleke of forging the certificates submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), claiming that Adeleke did not comply with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2022.
