Ambassador Prince Deji Bakare, Convener of the Most Beautiful Girl in Ogun State (MBGO) 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Environment, Dr. Ola Oresanya as part of ongoing engagements ahead of the much-anticipated MBGO 2026 Grand Finale.

The Commissioner warmly received Ambassador Prince Deji Bakare and his team, commending the initiative and the work being done to promote the beauty, culture, tourism and positive image of Ogun State through the pageant.

During the meeting, the Commissioner expressed his appreciation for the vision behind the Most Beautiful Girl in Ogun State 2026 initiative and acknowledged its potential to create opportunities for young women while showcasing the rich heritage and identity of Ogun State.

The Commissioner also expressed his expectation to meet the eventual Queen and encouraged the organisers to continue with the good work. Discussions further centred on the possibility of supporting the winner of the pageant as she begins her journey of representing Ogun State and the organisation beyond the state.
Ambassador Prince Deji Bakare reaffirmed the organisers’ commitment to working closely with relevant government stakeholders and promised that the Queen would return for another courtesy visit following her emergence at the grand finale.
The meeting also witnessed the presence of other members of the Commissioner’s cabinet, who joined in welcoming the MBGO team and engaging in discussions surrounding the initiative.
A Partnership for a Greater Ogun
The courtesy visit marks another significant step in the organisers’ efforts to build meaningful partnerships with government, private-sector leaders and other stakeholders ahead of the grand finale.
Plans are already being considered towards supporting the eventual winner of Most Beautiful Girl in Ogun State 2026, scheduled for November 21, 2026, in Abeokuta.
The organisers believe that the Queen should not merely wear a crown, but should become an ambassador of purpose, culture, tourism, responsibility and positive representation.
Ambassador Prince Deji Bakare, a former Mr. Nigeria, continues to lead the initiative with a vision of creating a platform where beauty meets purpose and young women are empowered to become influential representatives of Ogun State.
The crown is coming. The Queen is coming. And Ogun State is ready to witness her rise.
