Popular Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has stirred reactions online after a photo of her sharing a warm hug with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, went viral.
Many Nigerians criticised the gesture, noting that Churchill is now married to Rosaline Meurer.
Among those who reacted was the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, who questioned whether the actress intended to destabilise Churchill’s marriage.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ossai wrote: “Tonto Dikeh hugging her ex husband Olakunle Churchill this way is disappointing.”
“I’m really disappointed in Tonto Dikeh’s behavior, hugging her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill like that, especially knowing he’s married now.”
“She should’ve considered his wife, Rosy Meurer, and how she’d feel seeing that display of affection. It’s not right, and I think it’s unfair to Rosy.”
“Tonto Dikeh should respect boundaries, especially when it comes to someone else’s marriage.”
“It’s disappointing to see, and I don’t think it’s a good look for her.”
