Dr. Chris Okafor, General Overseer of Mountain of Miracles and Liberation Ministries a.k.a Greater Liberation City in his resolve to change lives has doled out the sum of N300,000 (Three hundred thousand naira to a widow to start up a business.
The Oracle of God as he is fondly called also gave the widow’s son scholarship from his primary school to university level. It happened on Sunday, March 17th, 2019 that the man of God during the church service pledged to help the woman who survived a horrible motor accident that left all the passengers in the bus dead, except for the widow and her son.
The woman who happened to be a member of the church has all thanks to Dr. Chris Okafor for empowering her with the sum of money and granting her son scholarship. The church was electrified at the gesture of the man of God.
Also, asides from the N300,000 empowerment from the Chris Okafor Foundation, other church members equally rose to the occasion to support the widow as donations of various kind were made, culminating to millions of naira as the woman at the spot became a millionaire.
In his remark, Dr. Chris Okafor, reiterated that; “God has directed me to empower the less privileged, aside the spiritual upliftment done through prayers, I understand that prayer alone cannot solve problems, although prayer is the key, but with empowerment, God will be satisfied with the church.”
“I pray for her and the son that affliction will never rise again. I urge her to make good use of the money because anything big starts small. I will personally supervise the scholarship of her son and his progress in school.”
It is noteworthy that Chris Okafor Foundation has continue to bring smile and sucour to widows and the less privileged in the country. It is interesting to also know that over 10,000 widows across the nation have benefitted from Dr. Chris Okafor while the Foundation currently has over 25,000 students on its scholarship scheme
