The Generational Prophet of God and Senior Pastor of Grace Nation Global, Dr Chris Okafor, has warned that unless inherited battles in a bloodline are confronted and broken, generations yet unborn may continue to suffer the consequences.
Dr Okafor gave the warning during the Grace Nation Global midweek service, PHDS, held at the church’s International Headquarters in Ojodu-Berger, Lagos.
Speaking on the topic: “Inherited Battle,” the popular Lagos-based clergyman said understanding the root and foundation of the challenges confronting an individual is the first step towards finding lasting solutions.
According to him, people must identify the source of their battles before they can effectively deal with them.
“You must know the root of the battle before you can break it. As long as you don’t deal with inherited battles in your bloodline, the enemy will keep having power and access over you and your children,” Dr Okafor stated.
The Man of God further emphasized the importance of knowledge in achieving spiritual freedom, urging believers to acquire the right understanding and apply it through prayer and the Word of God.
“Knowledge is very important if you must come out of it. But you must first acquire the right knowledge and apply it spiritually to be free from inherited patterns,” he said.
WAYS PEOPLE INHERIT BATTLES
Dr Okafor explained that inherited battles could be linked to the father’s house, mother’s house, covenants, sacrifices and ancestral altars.
He noted that such battles can manifest through names, bloodlines and foundational patterns, stressing that believers must rise through prayer, the Word of God and divine intervention to break negative cycles.
The Generational Prophet therefore urged members of Grace Nation and believers around the world to be intentional about spiritual warfare and avoid living in ignorance, noting that ignorance can provide room for negative patterns to persist.

Meanwhile, all is set for the Grace Nation Global flagship conference, “NOT MY HEAD, NOT MY BLOOD.”

Dr Okafor has charged members and guests from around the world to prepare their hearts for a life-changing encounter, expressing confidence that the programme will bring freedom and break generational yokes.
