Governor Monday Okpebholor of Edo State has stated that he would resign if President Bola Tinubu loses the 2027 presidential election in the state.
According to him, Tinubu enjoys widespread support in Edo State and residents are ready to vote for him.
Okpebholor made this declaration during a recent interview.
He said; “There is no opposition here in Edo everybody is for Asiwaju in this state.”
“Tinubu is more popular than me in Edo state. If he doesn’t win the presidential election in Edo in 2027, I will resign.”
