Rumour has it that the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rifai is planning to dump the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to rumour mongers, El-Rufai is set to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Amid the defection rumour, El-Rufai, we gathered visited the SDP’s National Secretariat in Abuja on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Sources squealed to us that El-Rufai paid a consultation visit to the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Shehu Musa Gabam.
For those who don’t know, El-Rufai is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
EL-Rufai was nominated for a ministerial position in President Bola Tinubu’s administration but was not confirmed by the Senate.
