There was complete chaos at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday July 11th, 2020 after the England national team were defeated by their Italian counterparts on a penalty shootout at the EURO 2021 final.
The highlight of the event was when the English fans lost their cool after the football match and vented their anger on the Italian fans following the defeat.
Interestingly, the English fans both inside and outside the stadium unleashed terror on anyone sighted wearing the Italian jersey or anybody putting on a blue top.
Infact, blows and kicks rented the air as the Italian fans helplessly scampered for safety.
Now, the million dollar question on the lips of many football enthusiasts is what is the offense of the Italian fans that warranted the beating.
For those who don’t know, the game between England and Italy ended on a 1-1 draw after extra time. But the winners were determined by a penalty shootout which led to England painful defeat.
England young tars, Marcus Rashford, Jordan Sancho and Bukayo Saka, all missed from the penalty spots.
