The prestigious annual Green & White Nigeria Achievers Award which held on Sunday, May 29th, 2022 at the popular WATER CRESS HOTELS, Allen Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria saw in attendance top personalities, celebrities, religious leaders, business moguls and industry giants.
The event kicked-off with a Green Carpet where all the guests trooped out to take photos in their gorgeous dresses. The Green Carpet was properly managed by Jennifer Gentet of ICC STUDIO (Innovate Creations & Communication Ltd).
This year’s edition of Green & White Nigeria Achievers Award was hosted by media personality, Ronye popularly known as Radio Diva.
Amongst the a-list artistes that thrilled the guests is none other person than the ‘Jaga Jaga’ crooner, Eedris Abdulkareem who also was the Guest Speaker. The musician equally won an award as the Nigerian Music Icon Of The Year.
However, famous TV presenter, Denrele Edun was awarded as International TV Personality Of The Year even although he was not physically present to receive the award.
Other entertainers who were also award include Boy Oris, he won “Best Young Music Talent Of The Year”, Aji Sanni, “Best Vocalist Of The Year Award” and Chizzy Ace, “Indigenous Art Of The Year Award”
The event which was put together by Mgwn Green & White Nigeria Ltd. ended in a grandstyle with electrifying performances from the artistes followed by the award presentation.
The grand event also saw the launching of Green and White Magazine which was unveiled by the Chief Launchers, Chief Taylor Ayomide Israel, Engr. Lawrence Egogo and the Chairman of the occasion, Engr. Akin Abiola.
The award ceremony also witnessed the presence of HRM Kabiyesi Oba Kabiru Kolawole Adelaja Agbabiaka Ilufemiloye, Osolo of Isolo Kingdom, Lagos and HRM Alh. Ahmed Haruna Kuraja, Sarkin Hausawa Community, Alimosho Local Government Area, Lagos as the Royal Fathers of the Day.
Also, Mrs. Funke Ayeni, a Business Woman, Humanitarian/Motivator was equally present as the Royal Mother of the Day.
Meanwhile, speaking after the award ceremony, the Convener, Green & White Nigeria Achievers Award, Amb. Mrs. Juliet Geoffrey Porbeni a.k.a Julietgreenandwhite, enthused that; “Green & White Nigeria Achievers Award is a national and global honour award that stands alone proudly witnessing hard work and dedication.
