FCMB Empowers Four New Millionaires In Season 10 Promo Draw

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) continues to make strides in financial inclusion and customer empowerment with its ongoing Millionaire Promo Season 10. The sixth monthly draw of the campaign, held on August 13, 2025, saw four everyday Nigerians each awarded ₦1 million, further reinforcing FCMB’s commitment to supporting micro-entrepreneurs and everyday savers.

The newly crowned millionaires include Yusuf Abdulrasak, an automobile mechanic based in Lagos; Taiwo Adeagbo, a computer technician in Osun State; Victor Ifeachor, a retired civil servant from Abuja; and Kingsley Nnadi, a wood merchant in Imo State. In addition to the top winners, 1,000 other customers across Nigeria were rewarded with cash prizes of up to ₦50,000 each.

For many of the winners, the windfall represents more than just financial relief, it is an opportunity to scale their businesses and contribute to local economic development.

Taiwo Adeagbo, the Osun-based technician, plans to reinvest in his enterprise. “With the ₦1 million, I hope to expand my computer repair services and launch a training program for young people interested in technology. It’s a chance to empower others while growing my business,” he stated.

Similarly, Yusuf Abdulrasak intends to channel his prize into upgrading his auto workshop in Lagos. “This is a turning point. I can now buy advanced tools and provide better service to my customers,” he remarked.

Kingsley Nnadi described the win as “a dream come true,” noting that the funds will enable him to increase inventory and expand market reach in his timber business.

Meanwhile, retired civil servant, Victor Ifeachor referred to the prize as a “timely relief during challenging times” and used the moment to encourage more Nigerians to consider FCMB for their financial services.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, Adetunji Lamidi, Divisional Head of Personal Banking at FCMB, emphasized the bank’s strategic vision behind the promo.

“The Millionaire Promo is not just a campaign, it’s about people. It aligns with our mission to empower customers, especially small-scale entrepreneurs, by creating tangible opportunities for growth. The stories of Yusuf, Taiwo, Kingsley, and Victor reflect the real-life impact of this initiative,” Lamidi said.

The FCMB Millionaire Promo Season 10, which began in December 2024, runs through September 2025 and is open to both new and existing savings account holders. Customers can qualify by growing their savings balance by a minimum of ₦10,000 and maintaining it for at least 30 days. Every additional ₦10,000 saved increases a customer’s chances in the monthly draws.

Since the campaign’s launch, 16 customers have emerged as millionaires, while thousands more have received various cash rewards. The grand finale draw is scheduled for October 2025, where more customers are expected to win significant cash prizes.
