Former Minister of Aviation and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode, has described the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a group of individuals desperate for power.

He stated that there is effectively no opposition party in Nigeria, adding that members of opposition parties are preoccupied with internal conflicts.

Fani-Kayode disclosed this on his Facebook page, where he wrote;“I do not see the ADC as a credible opposition party; rather, I see it as an association of individuals desperate for power people who are discredited and lack the capacity to move this nation forward. The opposition in Nigeria has collapsed.

“There is no real opposition because they do not understand how to function as one. How can they hold the government accountable when they are constantly bickering, fighting among themselves, and, metaphorically, asleep at the wheel?”
