Nigeria’s richest woman and Executive Vice-Chairman of Famfam Oil Limited, Folorunsho Alakija’s marriage has crashed.
The news came as a shock to many Nigerians as the marriage between the billionaire businesswoman and her husband who is also a businessman, Modupe Alakija, has been free from scandal since 48years of their marriage.
Be that as it may, report reaching us has it that the couple has now gone their separate ways.
The husband, Modupe is said to have moved out of their mansion in Ikoyi, Lagos and he is now living in another house in Ikoyi.
Sources said the marriage have been facing some challenges which they could no longer manage, leading to their separation.
However, rumour has it that the marriage started having crisis after they had a wedding for one of their sons. And according to sources the wedding was done privately without media presence.
Sources also alleged that invited guests were carefully examined. They said photographers were restricted from the event.
Sources said from all indication that the marriage was meant to be kept out of the public.
For those wh don’t know, Folorunsho and Modupe Alakija got married in November 1976. Their union produced four sons and grand children.
