Popular Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, also known as Jenifa, has debunked reports making the rounds that she snubbed Fuji star, Pasuma at an event in Lagos over the weekend.
The clarification follows widespread social media speculation alleging that the actress ignored the singer when he attempted to greet her, similar to a previous incident involving her colleague Toyin Abraham at a movie premiere.
A viral video showed the moment Pasuma appeared to seek Akindele’s attention while she was engaged in conversation with another guest, eventually returning to his seat when she did not immediately respond.
Reacting to the claims, Akindele dismissed the allegations.
She said: “Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, and even danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon. Please, you all should stop this evil.”
