Globus Bank Limited, a commercial bank in Nigeria is in big mess as one of its staff in Ikorodu, Lagos has reportedly committed suicide because things were not working for her.
The employee, identified as Amarachi, decided to end her life by ingesting a bottle of snipper. The lady who left a note, cited that the hardship in the country made her to cut her life short.
She wrote; “My figures are low, my brain is closed up, the economy is getting harder, my decisions are wrong, my mind is messed up, the future doesn’t seem brighter all, I see extreme hardship, I can’t bear the pain anymore.”
“I’m sorry mum, I’m sorry dad, I’m sorry Nene, Okwe, Toto Nazor, Chuchu, Ifunaya.”
“Dear Lord have mercy on me.”
For those who don’t know, the ugly incident happened on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024. She was found dead in the toilet, a bottle of snipper was found beside her lifeless body.
