Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has gifted brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser SUVs to all former deputy governors of the state in recognition of their service. The gesture, reportedly worth over a billion Naira.
The Governor made the announcement in a statement shared on his verified X account (formerly Twitter), alongside photos of the luxury vehicles.
He wrote: “I presented brand new Land Cruisers to all former Deputy Governors of Akwa Ibom State as a token of appreciation for their years of service and sacrifice. Their dedication has helped shape our State’s progress, and it’s only fitting they enjoy comfort as they continue to share their wisdom with us. Thank you for your service!”
The presentation coincided with Akwa Ibom’s 38th anniversary celebration, adding a symbolic touch to the state’s milestone.
