Guardian Newspaper’s Odita Sunday Empowers Widows With N200,000 Cash, Gift Items

The Guardian newspaper’s Defence Editor in Abuja cum Publisher of Razor News, Odita Sunday, has put smiles on the faces of the widows in Onicha – Ugbo, Aniocha North LGA in Delta State.

The journalist of repute, who has been involved in philanthropic work, during the Christmas celebration gave the sum of N20,000 each to ten (10) widows.

Apart from the cash gifts, he also gave other items to the young widows to celebrate Christmas with their families.

According to the humanitarian journalist, “You don’t have to be related to anybody before you can help the person.” He said that with the present hardship in the country that he believes the N20,000 cash gift will go a long way in the lives of the beneficiaries.

However, he promised that the next Christmas celebration, the gift items and the cash gifts will be bigger and better.

For those who don’t know, the veteran journalist is the Founder of The Odita Sunday Charity Foundation (TOSC) and the foundation has been giving sucour to people in need, particularly orphans and the less privileged.
