Famous Nollywood actress, Jaiye Kuti, has revealed to Nigerians that she tried to leave her marriage three times.
The actress who made the shocking revelation in an interview recently, disclosed that 85% of women in marriages want to exit the union.
She said; “If you ask a hundred women, 85% want to exit their marriage.”
“I even tried to leave thrice. The problem is that when you marry someone from a different culture, people start to reveal their actual selves.”
“A man would treat and pamper a woman when he wanted to get married, but when a second marriage and kids are involved, things go too far.”
“Men can also have egotistical tendencies and are unstoppable when it comes to cheating.”
For those who don’t know, Jaiye Kuti is married to Lanre Kuti, CEO of C.Ray Company Limited.
Jaiye and Lanre got married in 2000. They have two children together, Anastasia Kuti and Mayowa Kuti.
