Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) staff has been attacked and stabbed on the head with a broken bottle by some youths of a community in Lagos for trying to disconnect power from the community.
We gathered that the community in question has not had power supply for over three weeks.
We learned that when the man arrived the area to disconnect those that have not paid their electricity bills, the angry residents descended on him, leaving him with several deep cuts on his head.
However, in a video available to us via the social media, the man was seen groaning in pains as his wounded head was being stitched by a nurse.
