Ikeja Lions Club Comissions Legacy Projects

In furtherance of its community development efforts and humanitarian services,  the Ikeja Unique Lions Club recently commissioned its 8 in 1 legacy projects.

The projects include Solar Panel installation thus harnessing renewable energy, borehole construction aimed at ensuring access to clean water, classroom renovation to enhance conducive learning environments, provision of classroom Furniture, construction of playgrounds to promote physical activity, refurbishment of Playgrounds to guarantee maximum comfort and enjoyable play areas for pupils, toilet refurbishment for improved sanitation and hygiene and Food Court refurbishment for enhanced dining experience.

The epoch commissioning event which was presided over by the Club President, Lion Lady Rosetta Emele was graced by prominent members of the club including DG Lion Tolulope Senbanjo PMJF NLCF, Lion Phina Oringo, PMJF NLCF; Club presidents, Zone chairmen, Region Chairmen, Lions and Leos.

Also in attendance were the Chairman of Kosofe local government areas, Barr Moyosore Ogunlewe, the Ologudu of Ogudu, His Royal Highness Oba Najimu Akinwunmi Fashola who was represented by Lion Chief Johnson Fashola, the Venerable Dr. James A Adejuwon, Vicar of St Andrew Anglican Church Ogudu among others.

According to Lion Ekei-Juliet Agori, NLCF; Marketing and communication chairperson of Lions Club, Ikeja, the club express gratitude to all of its members and the recipients of the projects for their contributions in making the event a huge success.
