It is no longer news that Afrobeats star, Davido is not on good terms with Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna.
The rift between the duo reportedly began in October 2023 after Davido liked a post on X that described Phyna’s fans as ‘useless.’
Tensions further escalated when Davido welcomed his twins with Chioma. Phyna congratulated the singer and asked if she had done anything to warrant his perceived dislike, but Davido responded by saying he did not know who she was. Phyna later fired back, saying, “God knows me.”
However, speaking during a recent livestream, Phyna expressed a willingness to reconcile with the singer.
She said; “I would like to stream with Davido. If I get the opportunity, I will take it. Yes, he is my senior and bigger than me. I am willing to apologise, but before doing that, we need to understand where our quarrel really started.”
“He needs to explain that liking that comment was a mistake and share his side of the story. The “I don’t know you” statement might have been misunderstood.”
Phyna’s recent comments suggest that the reality TV star is seeking reconciliation with the “Omo Baba Olowo” as Davido is fondly called by his fans.”
