Amidst the controversies rocking many marriages, especially that of celebrities, Nollywood ace actress, Caroline Danjuma has advised couples to keep their secrets between theirselves and avoid washing their dirty linens on the social media.
She gave the advise on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 via her Instagram page.
She wrote; “Dear couples, marriage is a union of two strangers from two different tribes, backgrounds, home training, family, you both came together because of love but you must accept that both of you are very different.”
“The same reason you swore for better or for worse, please learn to forgive, teach and tolerate one another, pray together and work together, sacrifice for one another. Keep your secrets between each other. The public is no place to wash your dirts.”
“We all make mistakes and we learn. The only time to speak out in public is if domestic violence or extreme emotional abuse is involved and you need help. Respect this sacred institution, you ain’t fighting one another but the devil.”
“Some days will be tough, ain’t easy living with one person all your life, but you must remember why you chose him/her to love. Go for counseling if need be. Just not social media.”
“You court to know if you are compatible. It is not all about S*x and good times.. you must be ready for terrible times too. I pray every union going through troubles receives the grace and love of Christ.”
