Lady Arrested For Setting Ex-Lover’s Girlfriend Ablaze

19-years old Jemila Ibrahim of Monkey Village, Festac, Lagos has been arrested by the State Police for setting her former lover’s girlfriend ablaze.

Jemila was arrested alongside her friend, Fatima Mohammed (21) years for the heinous act. According to the police, Jemila and Fatima on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 set the house of her ex-lover, Mohammed Yusuf on fire.

Police sources disclosed to us that when Mohammed got the hint of the incident, he rushed to the house where he met his house on fire, but managed to rescue his girlfriend, Rabi from the fire and took her to the hospital. Unfortunately, she gave up her ghost on Saturday, November 21st, 2020.

The police told us that Mohammed called his relationship with Jemila a quit on the ground of infidelity but Mohammed later met Rabi who lost her life to the unfortunate incident.

Jemila and her friend, Fatima were arrested by the police operatives attached to Satellite Division of the Command.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who condemned the wicked act has ordered that the matter be transferred to the State CID, Panti, for discrete investigation. The CP also vowed to go after those who engage in crimes and social vices in order to rid the State of criminals.

The police boss, however, encouraged Lagosians to avoid taking laws into their hands. He noted that jungle justice will only truncate the administration of justice and such could be counterproductive.
