Lagos Halts Reopening Of Churches, Mosques

Lagos State Government has suspended the reopening of churches and mosques slated for Friday June 19 and Sunday June 21 respectively.

The state governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement on Tuesday, June 16th 2020 during press briefing.
The Governor said the new development is as a result of the rising cases of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic in the state.
However, Lagos has recorded 7,300 confirmed cases of Covid-19, making it the highest in the country.
