Popular prophet, Israel Oladele Ogundipe a.k.a Genesis has denounced an audio making the rounds on social media credited to him by Yoruba actress, Liz Anjorin.
For those who don’t know, Prophet Israel Oladele had some years ago preached about ‘Storm’ (Iji) by using an illustration of palm a tree and orange tree at his Genesis Global Headquarters located at Duro Isola Street, Dalemo Alakuko.
However, the video of that preaching went viral as it reached over 30 million views on social media.
According to Prophet Israel Oladele’s media aide, Oluwaseun Fabiyi, he said; “Surprisingly, and to those that still have the 3minutes video, they can attested that there was no where the man of God ever mentioned Liz Anjorin’s name, rather he was just preaching about the ‘Storm’ of life as the Holy Spirit had directed him.”
“This is just a defamation of character emanating from Liz Anjorin to have come up after many years of ‘The Storm’ message and accusing Prophet Oladele directing the message to her. If I may ask; how does Liz Anjorin relate to the ‘Storm’ preaching? Or should I just concluded that the worrisome, confussionist woman might have something against Prophet Israel Genesis or might be looking for a cheap social media publicity since she’s already fading away.”
“Prophet Israel Oladele had preached the message ‘Storm’ as led by the Holy Spirit by using a standing palm tree, orange tree for an illustration and better understanding. The prophet said in the storm of life someone needs to stay calm and focus on the Lord knowing fully well, storm does not last long, it comes and go.”
“Prophet Israel Oladele said he never knew God was using ‘The Storm’ message to warn him by preaching it against himself because he actually went through that same storm afterwards.”
“The man of God was wrongly quoted by Liz Anjorin. I, Oluwaseun Fabiyi hereby condemn the audio claim by Liz Anjorin because there was never a time Genesis mentioned her name in any of his messages and there’s no iota of truth in what Liz Anjorin portray in that audio but rather a pathological liar.”
Be that as it may, Prophet Israel Oladele has advised the general public, church members, and his online followers to ignore the allegation by Liz Anjorin, adding that allegation is totally baseless and unfounded.
The man of God reiterated that the gospel of Jesus Christ is not of condemnation, but of salvation as he would continue to preach the truth with the direction of the Holy Spirit.
