Gateway Heritage & Trade fair is a first of its kind initiative within a beauty pageant in Ogun State, designed to celebrate the diversity, creativity, and economic potential of each participating Local Government Area. The one day exhibition will bring together contestants, community leaders, traditional rulers, government representatives, local businesses, artisans, entrepreneurs, investors, and indigenes in a vibrant showcase of culture, commerce, tourism, and innovation.

Each contestant will curate and present an exhibition stand representing her Local Government Area, highlighting its cultural heritage, locally made products, tourism assets, investment opportunities, cuisine, fashion, arts, crafts, and entrepreneurial strengths. Heritage & Trade fair is envisioned as a mini trade fair that has never before been integrated into a state beauty pageant, creating a unique platform for cultural exchange, economic promotion, networking, and local development.

This groundbreaking initiative reinforces MBGO’s commitment to ensuring that the platform delivers lasting economic, cultural, and social value beyond the crowning of a queen.

The organisers are currently engaging strategic stakeholders, including the Ogun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Ogun State Chapter, corporate organisations, development partners, and private sector institutions to build partnerships that will further strengthen the success and long term sustainability of the initiative.
