Mr Latin Denies Abandoning Baba Suwe

That Nollywood veteran actor, Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe died on Monday, November 22nd, 2021 after a protracted illness is an established fact.

That the remains of Baba Suwe has also been buried is equally an established fact.

Be that as it may, rumours have been flying left, right and center that the comic actor before he kicked the bucket was abandoned by the Theater Arts Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN).

However, reacting to the rumour, TAMPAN president, Bolaji Amusan a.k.a Mr Latin squealed that the association did not abandon the comic actor as widely speculated.

He said; “Those spreading the rumour acted out of ignorance, the association stood firmly with Baba Suwe during his trying times before he finally died on Monday.”

“He has been on and off hospital for a while so it was a surprise that he eventually died.”

“We were all praying for him to live longer but unfortunately he died that day and we can’t query God, that is how God wants it”.

Mr Latin made the revelation on Thursday, November 25th, 2021 at the burial of the deceased actor at his Ikorodu residence.
