These are happy moments for music couple, Simi and Adekunle Gold as they welcome their first child.
The female singer who gave birth to a baby girl on May 30th, 2020 took to her Instagram page on Sunday, June 7th, 2020 to share her joy.
She wrote; “It’s like free-falling – this unending, soul snatching, infinite, mind-boggling love. Deja, my baby girl, I got you. We got you. I promise. Now and forever. So help me God.”
Similarly, her husband, Adekunle Gold an hour after posted via his Instagram page the beautiful picture of him and the baby and wrote; “Adejare Kosoko Deja, We got you. I promise. Now and forever. So help me God. AG Baby has a Baby.”
For those who don’t know, Simi and Adekunle Gold got married on January 9th, 2019. Their wedding could be described as one of the most private celebrity weddings in modern times. It was attended by close friends and family members of the duo.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Ilashe beach in Lagos. Unlike the traditional wedding which had a larger turnout, the white wedding was reportedly attended by selected 300 guests.
