NdokwaForward, the foremost political pressure group in Ndokwa land, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as Governor of the Year 2025, an honour conferred on him by New Telegraph and Leadership Newspapers.
In a statement jointly signed by its leaders, Rt. Hon. Samuel Osasa Esq, Dr. George Ugbomah, and Chief Isaac Onyesom, the group described the prestigious recognition by the two leading national media organisations as a strong endorsement of Governor Oborevwori’s visionary leadership, pragmatic governance style, and unwavering commitment to sustainable development across Delta State.
The group said the award was well-deserved and reflective of the tangible progress recorded under the administration’s Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.
“As the foremost political pressure group in Ndokwa land, NdokwaForward takes pride in associating with purposeful leadership that prioritises infrastructure renewal, youth empowerment, economic growth, and inclusive governance,” the statement read.
According to the group, the honour goes beyond symbolism and serves as confirmation that good governance in Delta State is gaining national recognition.
NdokwaForward further noted that Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated capacity, calm strength, and a results-driven approach in steering the affairs of the state, adding that the award would serve as further motivation for greater achievements.
“We believe this recognition will spur even more impactful policies and sustained development across the three senatorial districts of the state,” the group stated.
The organisation joined other well-meaning Deltans in celebrating the milestone and urged the Governor to consolidate on the gains already recorded to ensure continued growth and prosperity for the people of Delta State.
