Social media was set ablaze recently when viral photos of popular Nigerian rapper and actor, Falz (Folarin Falana), dressed in full traditional wedding attire, surfaced online.
The stunning shots, complete with a bride by his side and a glamorous decorations, had fans and millions of Nigerians believed he was really married.
But not so fast, taking to his Instagram page on Tuesday, Falz poured cold water on the rumours, making it clear that no actual wedding took place.
He said; “When everybody realized I wasn’t really married, people kept saying it’s a case of the boy who cried wolf. Maybe when I do get married, nobody will care.”
In a clapback to those who were quick to spread the rumoured married, he said; “It is bold of you to actually assume that if I’m getting married, I will share it.”
