Famous Nollywood actress, Sarah Martins has expressed deep pain and anger toward officials of the Lagos State Government.
In a post on her Instagram page, the actress accused officers of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force of assaulting her while she was cooking free meals for vulnerable people on the streets.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, she was seen clutching her hand and grimacing in pain.
She wrote; “My heart aches. Today, as I was cooking free food for the vulnerable and homeless people on the streets of Lagos, like I always do, some uniformed men came there, harassed me, bullied me, and took away the food I was cooking, my cooking gas, and everything I was using.”
“My only offence was serving love on a plate through my healthy meals. I am not a chef, and I do not cook for a living.”
Nigerians have taken to the comment section to sympathize with her, expressing their shock and disappointment over the incident while offering words of support and encouragement.
