Various Concerned groups in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency have come out to call on the leadership and Elders of the APC to please prevail on the menfolk to give female members of the party opportunity to represent them at the House of Representatives Abuja in the forthcoming elections for the sake of equality and FairPlay.
The group who claimed that the constituency since 1996 to date has been represented by male members said it is now time for a female representative to emerge and be supported by all to fly the flag of the party come 2023 at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja.
The group also said though they have always appreciated and enjoyed the representation of the male folks who had done it before further said;
“We are not in competition with our male members because they are out husbands, but it’s time now for the female members too to have a shot at the Green Chamber for equality and Fair Play sake”
