Nigerian music star, Peter Okoye a.k.a MrP of the popular music group, P-Square is very angry over the rate of corruption in Nigeria.
This is on the backdrop of the N190 billion Ethiopia Air scam.
Recall that the acting Managing Director of Nigeria Air, Captain Dapo Olumide recently met the Senate Committee on Aviation where he confirmed that the N190 billion controversial Ethiopian aircraft was chartered to unveil the country’s national career, ‘Nigeria Air’.
Meanwhile, the House of Representatives had declared the launch of Nigeria Air as scam.
However, taken to his Twitter page on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023 the famous singer lamented and wrote;
“Monkey stole billions, snake swallowed billions only in Nigeria. Now they borrowed an Ethiopian aircraft for a photo shoot worth 190 billion naira wetin remain again, dem go soon sell this country.”
For those who don’t know, we can tell you for free that the immediate past Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, prior to the expiration of former President Muhammadu Buhari-led government, unveiled the Nigeria Air on the claim that it would generate $1 billion within five years.
