Nigerian music star, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, is appealing to Nigerians to help him beg his former record label boss, Kcee to pay him his money.
The “Reggea blues” crooner made the appeal on Monday, December 18th, 2023 via his Instagram page.
He wrote; “I’m here to beg you all to help me beg Kingsley Okonkwo, known as Kcee to refund my money and release my songs.”
“For more than 7 years now, he’s been the one collecting 100% of my royalties from all my big songs, Reggea blues, Baba for the girls, Samankwe, Better Pikin and Ofeshe. It’s not fair.”
“At least, he can take his percentage and give me what is rightfully mine. Na beg I dey beg am, I know he likes to bully, he’s the Power Mike, help me beg him, the songs are mine, he should at least be fair to give me what is rightfully mine.
“May God not let us work, and another man just be reaping our hard end sweat in Jesus name.”
For those who don’t know, Harrysong was signed to Kcee’s record label, Five Star Music, before they fell out in 2016.
