What People Don’t Know About Actress, Late Bose Adewoyin a.k.a Madam Tinubu

That veteran actress, Bose Adewoyin, popularly known as Madam Tinubu is dead is an established fact.

Be that as it may, we can tell you for free that the thespian who died on Tuesday, June 24th, 2020 got the name ‘Madam Tinubu’ from the role she played in the movie; ‘EFUNROYE TINUBU’ as Madam Tinubu.

For those who don’t know, the film which was written by Professor Akinwumi Isola and directed by Gbenga Adewusi was done in 1989 and the movie was later adapted for television which became a hit on TV screens between 1989 and 1990.

It is interesting to know that besides Madam Tinubu being a great actress, she was also a dancer and a costumier.

She was on the contingent of the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture that performed Funmi Odusolu’s famous dance musical, ‘ORÍ’ (Destiny).

Madam Tinubu also costumed many plays for stage and screen while she also acted along. She acted together with famous Yoruba actor, Adebayo Salami a.ka Oga Bello in Funke Akindele’s ‘ỌMỌ GHETTO’.

Madam Tinubu was a staff of the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture where she participated in many editions of the National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST).
