Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has finnally unveiled his running mate.
The former governor of Anambra State has announced Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election.
Obi made the announcement on Friday, June 8th, 2022 in Abuja.
He said; “Baba-Ahmed is eminently qualified to bring his private sector and academic achievements to bear in the drive to rescue Nigeria from the primitive politics of ethnicity.”
“Labour Party will anchor its manifesto in the coming days on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
For those who don’t know, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed was born in 1976. He is a Nigerian economist and politician who served as Senator for Kaduna North from 2011 to 2012 and member of the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007.
