Popular Nigerian music promoter, Balogun Olamilekan Eletu a.k.a Sam Larry has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command in connection with the death of famous musician, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
Sam Larry according to the police was arrested on Thursday, September 28th, 2023.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this via his Twitter page “X” page.
He wrote; “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with an ongoing investigation.”
“Sam Larry is “Assisting with ongoing investigations” means that he will be interrogated on his relationship with Mohbad, the Marlian boss and the label activities including Wunmi the wife of Mohbad and others in the label family including events leading to the singer’s death.”
For those who don’t know, Sam Larry and Nigerian music star, Naira Marley have been accused of having a hand in the mysterious death of the young star (Mohbad)
Recall that Mohbad died on September 12, 2023 under controversial circumstances.
