Portable Drops Bombshell Amid Police Plan To Arrest Him

Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable has left many people almost laughing their intestines out as he shed light why the police want to arrest him.

He said; “That boy wey I beat, he’s my boy. I’m a boss to him. Oga go beat apprentice na? That one no mean say make Police come say make dem come arrest you.”

“This boy is my boy. He’s into Yahoo (Internet fraud). I advised him to quit but he still dey do the scam dey go.”

“Then I pursued him. I beat him. I flogged him. Now you want to arrest me because of I flogged him?”

“He come to write a petition about me, about a celebrity superstar. He’s a Yahoo boy. Yahoo boy came to lay a complaint.”

“He write petition about superstar celebrity. My work is legit. I do music for a living. I no fear anybody, na only God I fear.”

The singer earlier took the internet by storm after a video surfaced on social media where he was seen challenging police officers.

In the video, Portable was heard telling the policemen; “Show me your arrest warrant. Why did you come to my office to arrest people? You came and everyone was running. A yahoo boy sent police to arrest me just because I advised him to stop doing yahoo and vent into music.”

“Are the police and Yahoo boys now working together? I don’t do Yahoo. I’m a musician. If you want to invite me to your station, you will invite me with money.”

However, the Ogun State Police Command Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who reacted to the incident, said; “Portable has refused to honour the police invitation on five occasions.”

“We have also sent an invitation to him through his father twice for questioning after a report was lodged against him.”

“The police approached a court to get an arrest warrant for him following his refusal to honour the invitation. On sighting the police, Portable stripped himself naked so as to create a scene.

“Portable is not bigger than the law. We are going to use minimum force to arrest him.”
