President Muhammadu Buhari has been attacked by thousands of angry Nigerians on Twitter.
This is coming shortly after the President took to his Twitter page to send a goodwill message to ailing Saudi Arabia king, Salman Bin Abdulaziz.
He wrote; “On behalf of myself, the government and people of Nigeria, I pray for speedy and full recovery of the Saudi King, and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, one of the finest leaders I have ever met in the course of my interactions with world leaders.”
“King Salman is a true friend of Nigeria who has never failed to identify with us at all times through important collaborations and cooperation. As he receives medical attention, I send my best wishes and prayers for his speedy recovery.”
On behalf of myself, the government and people of Nigeria, I pray for speedy and full recovery of the Saudi King, and Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, one of the finest leaders I have ever met in the course of my interactions with world leaders.

However, twitter users have taken to the thread to react. See below some few threads…
Officers and Men were killed recently in Kastina, you didn’t commiserate with the bereaved! The numbers of widows are on a daily steady rise in the barracks! The Nigeria Armed forces (especially the army and those in the battlefield) are under trained and under equipped!

You are praying for someone in Asia, while our troops who are fighting in your back yard are butchered but you will never pray for them or even commiserate with their families.

Your backyard is burning, Soldiers fighting Boko Haram are being killed by their fellow soldiers for killing too many Boko Haram members, Christians are being killed, people were killed today in Southern Kaduna, but your concern is a Saudi King.
Hypocrite

Continue sending wishes to him when your citizens are brutally wounded by your brothers who were taught on how to kill.
Don't worry it's time to call a spade a spade.
The level of forgiveness of which Christians have given is at it apex.#realDonald— SadBlackman (@DanielB82332651) July 20, 2020
